Funding Explained

Title I, Part A - Improving Academic Achievement
Supports Oak Park Elementary, Pecan Park Elementary, and Magnolia Park Elementary as school-wide Title I schools. Pays for professional development, assists homeless students, and funds a portion of a secretary and a director.
 
Title II, Part A - Teacher and Principal Training
Funds activities including registration, travel, substitutes, training, and incentives for retention/recruitment of highly qualified staff.
 
Title III - Limited Engles Proficient Grant
Provides resources, translations, and professional development.
 
Title IV, Part A - Student Support and Academic Enrichment Grant

1. Provide all students with access to a well-rounded education

2. Improve school conditions for student learning

3. Improve the use of technology to improve the academic achievement and digital literacy of all students (Section 4101)
